Your energy bill relief payment has been added to your account

The payment of $125 will appear as a credit on your next bill.

This is the first of four targeted energy bill relief payments from the Commonwealth and Tasmanian Governments. 

aurora+ customers 

If you have aurora+, the payment will not appear on your aurora+ balance until your next bill is issued.

Once your next bill is issued, the payment will be added to your live account balance as a credit as well as on your bill. 

Future energy bill relief payments

Eligible households will receive $250 of targeted electricity bill rebates annually over two years. These payments will appear on your bill after the payments are processed.

You may cancel your subscription to aurora+ at any time by providing at least 5 business days’ notice. If you wish to delete your aurora+ account, tap the delete button at the bottom of the 'Account Details' screen.

In aurora+, go to the menu at the top right-hand side of your app screen and click 'Contact Us.' This will open a screen for you to put in your feedback or request.

Upgrade your home meter and access your data at no extra cost!

  1. Step 1

    Click ‘upgrade your meter and connect’ below, and fill out your details..

  2. Step 2

    Our team will organise your meter exchange.

  3. Step 3

    Your meter will be exchanged at a scheduled date and time.

  4. Step 4

    Once you meter has been installed we will begin setting up aurora+ (this takes a few days)

  5. That's it!

    You'll receive a welcome pack with links on how to download and set up aurora+.

Our meter exchange partner will priortise your exchange and will communicate with you on a time and date

Will there be an up-front cost for my advanced meter?

Regulated residential and small business customers that have an advanced meter installed from 1 December 2017 will not be charged an up-front cost for receiving this meter.
