If your Aurora Energy account is in credit, you may be able to request a refund directly to your bank account.

Request a Refund
Before you get started, please take a moment to check the eligibility criteria below.
To make sure your refund can be processed:
You can request a refund once every 3 months.
Refunds must be for $50 or more.
We can’t process a refund if your next scheduled meter read or bill is due within the next week.
Government incentives aren’t eligible for refund.
Refunds are usually processed within 5–7 business days.
Depending on the type of refund:
Your account balance may update right away, or
It may update on your next bill.
In some cases (for example, when a full payment has been cancelled), your balance will change but the adjustment won’t appear on your bill.
If your refund is over $1000, we may ask you to email proof of payment.
An authorised agent can request a refund to:
The bank account details we already hold for direct debit/credit, or
An account that has been refunded before, if those details were originally provided by the account holder.
