2026 gas price change
Residential and small business gas prices will increase from 13 February 2026.
For Residential customers, Gas daily supply charges will increase by 5.6% and usage charges will decrease by 4.5%.
For Small Business customers, Gas daily supply charges will increase by 3.3% and usage charges will decrease by 5.1%.

Why are gas prices increasing?
Due to several factors, the Aurora Energy gas charge has changed. While the daily supply charge has increased, we are happy to share that the energy usage charge has decreased.
Gas bills during the price change period
If your billing period includes days before the price change, the number of days before and after 13 February 2026 is calculated, and the old and new rates are applied in proportion to the days. Any gas used during is spread evenly over the full billing period.
