2025 gas price change
Residential and small business gas prices will increase from 20 June 2025.
Residential gas daily supply charges will increase by 20.01% and usage charges will increase by 6.54%.
Small business gas daily supply charges will increase by 3.49% and usage charges will increase by 5.79%.

Why are gas prices increasing?
There has been an overall increase in the factors that contribute to gas prices. Commodity costs, transmission and distribution costs have increased from 1 January 2025.
Gas bills during the price change period
If your billing period includes days before the price change, the number of days before and after 20 June 2025 is calculated, and the old and new rates are applied in proportion to the days. Any gas used during is spread evenly over the full billing period.
