Quick Answer

Your bills are made up of fixed charges (service charges) and variable charges (usage charges). Usually, Aurora Energy applies a blanket increase or decrease across all Standing Offer (STOF) tariffs, including the fixed and variable components.

This year, to create more cost reflective tariff pricing, we will not be applying a blanket change to STOF tariffs. We have done this type of rebalancing in the past, most recently in 2020 and 2017.

There will be a 15% increase to daily supply charges and an 8.38% increase to usage charges on all STOF tariffs excluding Tariff 22.

Tariff 22 will increase by 10% for its daily supply charge, and 8.38% for its usage charges.

These movements across all tariffs equal an average 9.51% increase.
