We do not ask for a security deposit for a residential account and have many tools to help with managing your ongoing usage. We may ask for a security if you are a new business customer or have not established a satisfactory business credit history with us.

If a cash security is provided, this will be returned to you together with accrued interest when either of the following occurs:

  • Two continuous years of satisfactory account payment history.
  • You are no longer responsible for the account and all amounts owing to Aurora have been paid.
