Low voltage demand (Tariff 82)

 Demand tariffs are typically structured to suit Large Business customers that have sites with high electricity consumption and who can control their demand. However, they may be suitable for some Small Businesses.

On our Small Business demand tariffs you will see:

  • a demand charge based on your electricity demand on the network at either 15 or 30-minute intervals;
  • an energy charge for the total amount of electricity used (kilowatt hour or kWh); and
  • a fixed daily service charge.

Our Small Business demand tariffs measure demand in either kilowatts (kW) or kilovolt amps (kVA)

Daily supply charges  368.085 ¢/day
Energy (all kWh) 17.822 ¢/kWh
All kVA $165.096/kVA/annum

 Prices effective as of July 2023

Unmetered Supply

Some electricity supply do not require a meter, such as electric fences, exterior lights and illuminated signs – this means that the connection has no meter and therefore there is no quarterly usage data. You will still receive a quarterly bill for the connection with the applicable service charges for the installation. Please note the unmetered supply must have its equipment wired in by an electrician who will submit an Electrical Works Request (EWR) to formally request the supply.
